  • The parade will take place in Downtown Santa Rosa on Saturday, May 18 at 10am. The Festival will open when the parade ends (around 11:15am).

  • The theme is Trek Thru Time! Visit the future, time travel to your favorite decade or celebrate all that is amazing about present day life in Sonoma County. All entrants into the parade are strongly encouraged to engage with the theme. (Think more than matching t-shirts!)

  • The festival will have free family fun for ALL ages, local food and drink, live performances, and more! Think photo opps, old fashioned games, crafts, education, activities, all with a Sonoma County vibe. Click here to see our interactive festival map.

  • The parade takes place on 4th Street from Hope to B. The route is about 1/2 mile long and we anticipate the parade will take a little over one hour to complete.

  • The City’s five garages will all have the first hour free on the day of the Parade. Parking will also be free all day at Santa Rosa Plaza.

  • There are many ways to participate in the parade - creating a float, marching with a group, volunteering, serving as a vendor, becoming a sponsor or just attending! For more details, or if you have any questions, contact us!

  • The short answer is yes! This parade is for any groups in Sonoma County that want to get out and show their hometown pride. However, we will limit participants to ensure the length of the parade lasts about one hour. The deadline to register is March 22. All registrants are required to attend a Parade Entrants Meeting in April.

  • Sponsorship opportunities for the 2024 Parade are now closed, but we have already begun raising funds for 2025! Please contact lbroseparade@gmail.com to get details about how a Rose Parade sponsorship not only supports this important community event, but promotes your business to thousands of local families.

  • We are accepting applications for food and beverage vendors only. To apply, complete and submit his vendor form.

  • For businesses wishing to participate, the entry fee is $500. The nonprofit fee is $250. Public service agencies and and school performance groups are free. This is structured to allow businesses that might benefit from exposure to pay a small fee.

  • Awards and cash prizes will be given to the following entrants selected by our panel of local judges:

    Best Overall Entry - $1,000
    Most Creative Entry - $750
    Best Use of Theme (Past) - $250
    Best Use of Theme (Present) - $250
    Best Use of Theme (Future) - $250
    Best Use of Flowers - $250
    Best High School Band - Pizza Party!
    Best Middle School Band - Pizza Party!
